DMCA Policy

Face Shape Detector ("https://faceshapedetector.org/") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.

As an AI-powered face shape analysis platform, we provide tools for users to analyze their facial features. While we don't host user-generated content beyond temporary processing for analysis, we take copyright infringement seriously and have implemented this policy to address any concerns.

To file a copyright infringement notification with us, you will need to send a written communication that includes substantially the following (please consult your legal counsel or see 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) for confirmation of these requirements):

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which you may be contacted.
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us (a "Counter-Notice") by submitting written notification to our copyright agent. Pursuant to the DMCA, the Counter-Notice must include substantially the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. An identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access disabled.
3. Adequate information by which we can contact you (including your name, postal address, telephone number, and, if available, email address).
4. A statement under penalty of perjury by you that you have a good faith belief that the material identified above was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
5. A statement that you will consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you reside outside the United States for any judicial district in which the service may be found) and that you will accept service from the person (or an agent of that person) who provided the complaint at issue.

After receiving a Counter-Notice, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original claim of copyright infringement. If we don't receive notice within 10 business days that the original complainant is seeking a court order to prevent further infringement of the material at issue, we may replace or cease disabling access to the material that was removed.

It is our policy in appropriate circumstances to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to our service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

As an AI face analysis tool, we implement measures to prevent misuse of our technology for copyright infringement purposes. However, we rely on the DMCA process to identify and address any potential violations.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. Similarly, if you knowingly misrepresent that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may be liable.
